Chetan Sharma openly talked on several topics which did not go down well with the BCCI top brass. He opened up about the ego clash between former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and former India captain Virat Kohli and the controversial statement by the latter after his removal.

He said Kohli had started to think himself “bigger than the Board” and had tried to “hit back” at Ganguly. After Kohli relinquished the captaincy role, Rohit Sharma was given the job, which according to Chetan wasn’t planned.

He also talked about players taking “injections” to make themselves available for selections despite being 80% to 85% fit. And on Hardik Pandya, Chetan said the Indian all-rounder would become India’s captain in the future and once he takes up the job, current captain Rohit Sharma would no longer represent the side. The BCCI hasn’t released any official statement on these revelations yet.
