- Photos of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini from six years ago have resurfaced, showing them in intimate poses.
- Social media speculates about a potential connection between Russini's son and Vrabel, as both share the name Michael.
- The rumors are largely unfounded and considered mere speculation without substantial evidence.
Hours before the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, the New York Post shared more photos of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini. According to the Post, those photos were taken at a New York bar six years ago, when Vrabel was still coaching the Tennessee Titans.
In one of the photos, Vrabel is seen speaking with Russini at the bar counter. A second photo shows Vrabel holding Russini’s arms, and in the final picture, the head coach of the New England Patriots is leaning in near Russini’s mouth, an action that can only be associated with a kiss.

But that’s not the main subject of this piece. Russini married her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, in 2020. In August 2021, Russini’s first son, Michael Andrew, was born. Around the same time, she posted a tweet that recently resurfaced online, adding more fuel to the raging scandal.
Keep looking at my 4-day-old son, Michael, while trying to figure out who are the best Michaels to ever play and coach in the NFL?
Social media warriors quickly pointed out that Vrabel’s full name is Michael George Vrabel. This gave birth to an unwanted rumor that could be detrimental to his reputation.
Yep, the husband definitely needs a DNA test at this point 😂😂😂

Crazy work. This is not something a normal mom would think 4 days after giving birth. Absolutely diabolical.

This entire theory is mere speculation, and there is no sufficient evidence to back such claims. It could easily be just a coincidence.
Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini went to a casino
The Post’s photos aren’t the only bomb that exploded on the internet. TMZ published its own investigative piece, adding to the scandal’s shock factor.

The popular gossip column posted a photo of Vrabel and Russini standing beside a poker table in Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, shortly before midnight on January 31, 2024. 12 days earlier, Vrabel was fired by the Titans after posting a 6-11 record.
TMZ did a deep dive into the reason behind Vrabel and Russini choosing Biloxi over any other joint. According to the publication,
It might have had to do with the 2024 Senior Bowl held in Mobile, Alabama, on Feb. 3 … about an hour drive away.
The person who took the photo knew who Vrabel was but mistakenly thought Russini was his wife until the recent events surfaced. While the witness did not see any PDA (public display of affection), they did mention that both Vrabel and Russini seemed comfortable and happy in each other’s company.

Whom did the Patriots select on Day One of the 2026 NFL Draft?
Following defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson‘s departure, mock drafts linked the Patriots with drafting an interior defensive lineman, preferably an edge rusher. Clemson’s TJ Parker seemed like the right fit for the Patriots at 31st overall.
However, GM Eliot Wolf opted to address the Patriots’ weakest position on the roster, the offensive line. Wolf traded the 31st pick and a fourth-rounder (125th overall) to the Buffalo Bills to move up to 28 and draft Utah offensive tackle Caleb Lomu.
Guys like Caleb Lomu don’t grow on trees. Tackle was a glaring need, and they got one of the top seven.

Is he everything they’d ideally want from a finishing standpoint? No.
But he got to their range, and they made a decision that should help them protect Drake Maye long term. https://t.co/x4fy3Uhn81
Lomu, 21, is a Freshman All-American in 2024 and first-team All-Big 12 with the Utes in 2025. The Patriots had a top 30 visit scheduled for Lomu, but canceled it because they thought he wouldn’t remain on the board at pick 31.
