- Donald Trump praised Jaxson Dart as a "future Hall of Famer" during a rally in New York.
- Dart introduced Trump at Madison Square Garden, rallying fans to support the New York Giants.
- Trump made unusual comments about Dart's physical traits while discussing policy ideas.
When it comes to Donald Trump, the NFL is split between those who support him and those who don’t. Jaxson Dart happens to be from the former group, as was evident when the President was in New York.
The last time the most powerful man in the world was in the city, he was campaigning to become President for the second time. He was at Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Knicks.
The 79-year-old was born in the city and has ties to it through his businesses. But when it comes to supporters, the city and its state have generally leaned left.
Therefore, when he wanted to speak to those who support him, Donald Trump relied on one of the city’s most recognizable faces, the New York Giants’ quarterback, to introduce him.
Big Blue nation, it’s a pleasure to be here… What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here and, without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.

The Ole Miss alum rallied fans to chant for his Giants. Then, Dart welcomed the President to the crowd. After shaking hands, Trump took the dais and said:
I want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book… Lot of talent.

This was the 47th leader of this country thanking Jaxson Dart for introducing him to the New Yorkers present at this rally to support Republican representative Mike Lawler.
Donald Trump bizarrely praises Jaxson Dart’s physical traits
After labeling him a ‘future Hall of Famer,’ Donald Trump went on to talk about what needs to be done in New York. A while later, he pivoted back to Jaxson Dart.
I’m looking at Jaxson. I’d like to know, is there any woman in the audience that thinks they can tackle that guy? Because I’d like to meet you. I’d like to shake your hand. I don’t know. Jaxson, you think you can play against women OK?… Don’t get involved, Jaxson, don’t answer that question… He’s this beautiful guy. He’s got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women.

This description might sound bizarre, but the real estate magnate brought it up while trying to explain some of his policy ideas. It was a bizarre explanation, but it seems the President was trying to praise Dart’s quads.

The 23-year-old quarterback is known for scrambling for the extra yard, which is why his new head coach is excited to see how this upcoming season pans out. If the 2026 season goes as predicted, and Dart takes the next step in his development, maybe Trump’s future prediction of him being in the Hall of Fame might not be bizarre after all.
Jaxson Dart and Giants are expected to fight for the playoffs
There is no doubt that football fans will question Dart’s political affinity. But what they will not question is when he used the opportunity to rile up fans for his New York Giants.

The franchise has not had anything to keep its fans excited in the past few years. That could change this year since they have John Harbaugh as their new head coach.
The baseline hope is that the team will improve upon its 4-13 record from last season. However, the city’s fans and analysts believe they could fight for the postseason. Harbaugh has already stated the intention of beating conference rivals to do so.
They are in one of the toughest divisions in the league, and they might have to win games outside of it to be an outside shot. But if they want to make their presence felt, a few wins against their rivals will do them a world of good.
