Minecraft Legends is a upcoming action strategy game developed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game is set to release on 18th April, 2022 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox series and Nintendo Switch.

The highly anticipated title Minecraft Legends is another spin-off of the original game Minecraft that was released in 2011 by Mojang Studios. The original game has the largest player base of any game, even a decade after its release, with players across all platforms playing the game. The announcement of Minecraft Legends has left the Minecraft community eagerly waiting for the new game. The spin-off game is available on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Since the spin-off is not a free-to-play game, Nintendo users must head to the store and purchase the game to download it.

The digital version of base Minecraft Legends costs $39.99 and the Deluxe edition costs $49.99. Purchasing the game through the Nintendo store grants users up to 250 gold coins that they can use to redeem discounts and various things in the store itself. The Deluxe Edition of the game offers players 6 additional in-game skins that can be used as soon as players enter the lands of Overworld.

Since Minecraft Legends has been released to various platforms like PC, PlayStation , Xbox and Nintendo Switch, crossplay and cross-platform is supported. However, to be able to crossplay with your friends across various platfoms, players must be logged in to their Microsoft account.

To invite friends to your world players must follow these steps:

  • Load into the game
  • Turn on in-game menu
  • Click ” Invite to game”
  • Select “Find Cross-Platform Friends”
  • Type in your friend’s Id and add friend.
