MrBeast announces $1,000,000 Fortnite challenge to celebrate his recently launched Icon Series skin

After dropping several teasers and giving hints that MrBeast will be available in Fortnite, Epic Games has given a green signal for the crossover. They recently made a twitter post confirming that players will soon be able to play as the successful YouTuber as he is going to become a part of the Icon Series skin.

To celebrate this, the YouTuber who is known for creating unique challenges while keeping a whopping amount of money as the prize, has announced that he is going to bring a Fortnite challenge where a prize of $1,000,000 USD will be up for grabs. The MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge will be an in-game tournament that takes place on 17th December.

While the island where this challenge takes place will go live today itself, the challenge will only begin at the above mentioned date. Players can enter the challenge in the “Fortnite Competitive” row in Discover. Under the challenge, players can play as many matches they wish, so that the best score could be taken for consideration at the time of the challenge.

The player who ends up winning the maximum score will be eligible for the hefty prize. Players should note that the challenge will run from 12 PM ET to 3 PM ET on December 17. Players should also have a verified Epic Games account and account level 15 or above to participate in the challenge.

What other MrBeast rewards can players receive in Fortnite?

MrBeast coming to Fortnite is certainly a huge deal. As a result, the developers are making it sure that players are able to make the most of it from the collaboration. They have announced the reward of the Golden Beast Brella Umbrella for the top 100 players who take part in the extreme survival challenge.

MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Quests will also be available around the same time, and if players wish to obtain an exclusive spray based on the content creator and Survival Games Loading Screen, they need to complete any of these quests. This will also help them to obtain extra Score for the main challenge in Fortnite.

Apart from these free items, some exclusive MrBeast items will be available at the Item Shop in Fortnite. Players can obtain them through V-Bucks but they need to remember about the time period till which the items are available. Here are the upcoming items at the shop-

  • Beast Claw Pickaxe
  • Wrapped and Revved Glider
  • Beast Blastin’ Emote

These are the accessories that will be available along with the MrBeast outfit as a part of the Icon Series. Players should start saving their V-Bucks if they wish to obtain the outfits and accessories.
