The streamer community has been increasing day by day. Many popular streamers and content creators are going around exploring new domains. Disguised Toast, a popular streamer, has been really trying his luck with eSports and buying teams left and right. Furthermore, Mrbeast, one of the most popular names in the content creators’ circle, is known for experimenting with various things. MrBeast has recently launched a new competitive gaming league called “Creator League” with popular streamers like IShowSpeed, Mizkif, and others.

The eSports industry has been thriving in recent years. Moreover, the Valorant Champions 2023 saw a really big boost in viewership this year. And the eSports industry continues to expand. Although many Orgs in the sector can said to be going through financial difficulties, the sector itself has been in quite good shape in recent years.

IT startup eFuse is launching A new competitive league in an effort to significantly close this financial gap. The motto of this league is to “put creators and their fans at the center of everything.” On September 2, 2023, MrBeast, the most popular YouTube creator, revealed the Creator League. Furthermore, Jimmy also described the league’s specifics and even how viewers may participate when it starts really soon.

Creators League: Teams of Creators, broadcast date, schedule, and more

The Creators League is a new competitive gaming league introduced by MrBeast. This is a really good initiative for the upliftment of the eSports industry. Furthermore, this league will have some of the most famous creators to take part in it. Additionally, the schedule of the league is out, and viewers would be able to get involved with the league. The Creators League would start from 8 – 10 September, 2023.

Creator Teams:

There will be 8 creator-managed teams in the first Creator League season. Over the course of a 10-month season, they will face off in a variety of contests. Each of the participating creators will actively manage their own teams. However, when the teams compete against one another via playing various video games, the creators won’t really have to participate as members of the teams. Moreover, the creators who’ll take part in the leagues are:

  • Vinnie Hacker
  • OpTic Gaming
  • Clix
  • Bella Poarch
  • OTK
  • CdawgVA
  • IShowSpeed
  • Sapnap

Fans involvement in the league:

Additionally, fans would also be able to get involved in the league. That doesn’t mean they’ll be in the league as active players, but instead support the league’s live broadcast. For $19.99, fans will be able to purchase “community passes” that will allow them to select the creator teams they wish to support. Moreover, the event is in partnership with MrBeast’s Feastibles. So, all those getting a pass before the 9th of September would be receiving a box of Feastibles! Furthermore, community passes fans would have a chance to play for their favorite creators’ team.

Schedule:

The schedule for the Creators League is as follows:

  • $50k Open Qualifier [September 8 – 10]: Creators would compete against each other in a 3v3 Zero Build Fortnite.
  • Creator League show launch [September 13]: For the purpose of making the first strategic decisions, a live, hour-long program will include a team draft and live team vote.
  • League launch [September 19]: First competitive event, with the featured game being Fortnite.
  • $200k First Split Final [October 3 – 5]: All participants in Fortnite’s playoffs and finals, including fans who form teams, receive guaranteed payments.

Moreover, the league will be divided into splits and span for 10 months. Below is a detailed list:

  • Split 1: September 8 – October 5
  • Split 2: October 20 – November 24
  • Split 3: January 12 – Feb 8,
  • Split 4: February 23 – March 21

This is a really great initiative launched by MrBeast, and through this, fans would be able to not just meet their favorite creators like Mizkif, Sapnap or IShowSpeed, but even take part in or watch a fierce battle between some of the best content creators in the world.
