Sodapoppin rejected Greek's behaviour being a "persona"

Streaming on Twitch for years, Sodapoppin has made many friends in the community over the years, one of them being the British stream Greekgodx. However, the streamer’s recent erratic behaviour and controversial behaviour have burnt many bridges for him.

While appearing as a guest on the ‘Hatewatchers’ podcast, Sodapoppin gave his two cents on Greek’s controversial attitude, commenting on the widespread sentiment that Greek is faking such behaviour just to stay relevant.

Sodapoppin had been living with Greekgodx at a point

Sodapoppin was recently a guest on the ‘Hatewatchers’ podcast, hosted by his brother and fellow streamer DKane, and D&D streamer RazorATX. On the podcast, the topic of on-stream personas came up, when the chat started asking Soda’s take on Greekgodx repeatedly which was finally acknowledged by the host after some time.

“It’s unfortunately sad and real,” replied Sodapoppin, claiming there wasn’t any clear benefit to him faking such behaviour and statements. The WoW streamer explained-

"I look at the things; okay, if he were to be faking all of these weird takes and persona, like, the way he is, right? He'd be doing it because it would be beneficial to him. But, it's not."

He added that it could be believed that Greek was “so dumb” that he thought this persona was working, but knowing him as he does, he doesn’t “think that’s the case”. Sodapoppin said that according to him, Greekgodx truly believes all the controversial takes he has been giving nowadays.

While on the podcast, Sodapoppin also reiterated his last interaction with Greek, claiming it was “weird as f*ck”. He explained how he was also on the same mobile plan as others living with Soda at that time, and after moving out, he got someone to pretend to be Greek, talk to Soda and get him switched to his own mobile plan.
