Ubisoft’s upcoming Open-world Star Wars game
Ubisoft is currently developing an open-world action-adventure Star Wars game. Massive Entertainment, the studio behind Tom Clancy’s The Division and its sequel, is developing the game. The developers set the game in the Star Wars galaxy, and considering its open-world nature, players can expect intensive exploration mechanics. The game designers have included a variety of gameplay mechanics, such as combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Ubisoft hasn’t announced a release date yet since they’re still in the early stages of developing the game. However, the developers expect to release it sometime in 2024. It has entered its testing phases but would take time to enter the market. Some additional game features would be:
- It will feature a variety of planets and locations to explore and a whole galaxy to travel in.
- Players will be able to create their own characters and choose their own path through the story.
- The game will also feature a variety of gameplay mechanics, including combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving.
Massive Entertainment’s past titles, like The Division and The Division 2, have received tremendous credits for their world-building. Also, Ubisoft has a firm foothold in the open-world market itself, with games like Assassin’s Creed series & the Far Cry series. So, we can expect a really well-made game with intensive storytelling and next-gen graphics. This will be an immersive addition to the Star Wars video games series. Currently, the community can only hope Ubisoft makes a good game and does not fumble the bag like CD Projekt Red did with Cyberpunk 2077.
