“I hope she gets the freedom”: Valkyrae stands up for Amouranth as internet makes her scapegoat

Ever since Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa revealed that she has a husband who is apparently ‘abusive’, several webheads have started playing victim-blaming on social media. Disgusted to witness all of this, Valkyrae tweeted in favor of the streamer.
Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter, the co-owner of 100 Thieves had shifted to YouTube Gaming a long time ago, but she has always been supportive of all her fellow streamers irrespective of their platform. Naturally, she didn’t hesitate to destroy the people who held Amouranth responsible for everything.
Valkyrae destroys people blaming Amouranth for her ordeal
Amouranth’s Twitch streams have always shown her in a cheerful mood as she interacts with her viewers through a hot tub or doing dance performances but yesterday, her fans saw a complete different side of the streamer as she had a breakdown during the broadcast when she revealed that she is married.
She even had a call with her husband where it was clearly visible that her ‘mystery’ husband was abusive as he threatened to kill the streamer’s dogs. Viewers were shocked to see that the person was asking her to leave her house and also forced her to host her 24-hour live stream.
As the call ended, Amouranth explained that her husband was controlling her bank accounts and also threatened her to leave only $1 million USD as he would be taking the rest. After a series of disturbing exchanges between her and her husband, the broadcast ended with a person asking Amouranth whether she had taken her medicines or not.
The internet was shell shocked to see the internet personality’s condition. Shortly after the broadcast ended, multiple content creators took to Twitter to show their support for Amouranth. Valkyrae was in the forefront as she made a bold tweet, criticizing those who were making Amouranth the ‘scapegoat’.
"It’s disgusting seeing the internet continue to invalidate and dehumanize victims of abuse. What Amouranth has been trapped in is very real.. especially having joint accounts, married, dealing with threats, etc.."
She further added-
"I hope she gets the freedom and relief any human in abuse deserves."
Observing how some users were putting up blame on Amouranth for her condition, Valkyrae took no time to destroy people making such hurtful comments. She showed her support towards the American glamour model by hoping that she gets freedom and relief.
Other content creators such as Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys commented that it should be explained to everyone that victim-blaming is not the right thing to do whereas others appreciated Amouranth for her bravery.

Fans show their solidarity
Various Twitter users hoped that Amouranth is in good health right now, they also agreed with Valkyrae that this situation should not be downplayed as victims of abuse have to go through a lot, especially when they have an internet persona to maintain.
