Max Verstappen has been the kingpin at the pinnacle of motor racing since 2021. He has already amassed three consecutive world drivers championships and amidst his growing dominance in the sport, the Ex-F1 team owner, Eddie Jordan has backed him to break Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher‘s seven world titles record.
If this is not enough, Eddie Jordan has even claimed that Max Verstappen has the mettle to get to an insane 10 world titles in F1. At the age of just 26, Verstappen has several years ahead of him.
The Dutchman is also leading the title race during the ongoing 2024 season by 78 points over McLaren’s Lando Norris.
Max is going to hit 10 world championships. If everything stays well with Max, mentally, physically, and everything to do with the car, Max is going to hit 10 world championships, because he is that young and that good!Eddie Jordan via Formula for Success podcast

Here is the perfect plan to win those 10 WDCs:
? 4 with Red Bull (2021-2024) ⌛️
? 4 with Mercedes (2025-2028)
? 2 with Ferrari (2029-2030)

Lewis Hamilton at the age of 39, has seven titles to his name. Keeping this in view and Jordan’s comments, it is quite possible for Verstappen to go past Hamilton and Schumacher’s joint record and also to hit the golden mark of 10 world titles.
Lewis Hamilton ‘needs to get on his bike’ to amass an eighth title
While Jordan has backed Verstappen to go for the mark of 10 titles in F1, he feels Hamilton needs to quickly get to his eighth title in the sport. At the earliest, the Brit could amass another world championship by the end of the 2025 season.
I think Lewis needs to get back on his bike and hurry up and get number eight because it is soon to be passed up by Max in any case.Eddie Jordan via the same podcast
Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly one of the drivers to ever compete at the pinnacle of motor racing. He has been sparkling his magic since 2007 and despite touching 40, is showing no signs of slowing down.
Max Verstappen, on the other hand, has a decent number of years ahead of him in F1. If he continues the way he has been performing for the last few years, then it is almost a guarantee he will pass Hamilton and Schumacher’s ultra-impressive record. The Dutchman’s journey will be one to keep an eye on in the upcoming years.
