Austrian GP 2022: When And Where to Watch, TV Channel Details for the 11th round of Formula 1
Austrian GP
It’ll be hard for the Austrian GP to the standard set by the last round at Silverstone. The British GP had a bit of everything, starting from breathtaking overtaking, controversies and crashes. Each and every one of us would want to see more of the same minus the crashes. The British GP could act as a catalyst for a season which looked like going Red Bull’s way.
We saw Ferrari made a sort of comeback with Carlos Sainz winning his first ever F1 race in his 150th race. Despite that, it felt like Ferrari missed a trick or two as Charles Leclerc couldn’t find a place on the podium despite having the pace to win the race. It would feel more of a blow for him keeping in mind that Max Verstappen had an off day at the office.
The reigning world champion picked up some damage due to running over some debris but fought back to finish P7 whereas his team mate, Sergio Perez, also recovered impressively to finish P2. It could have been much worse for Red Bull. Therefore, they will take it. Mercedes is one team that impressed one and all with Lewis Hamilton securing his third podium. Three teams in the mix for the top berth could mean fireworks at Red Bull Ring.
