“Baby Yuki is the best Yuki”: F1 fans leave adorable comments on Lewis Hamilton’s throwback post showing a Yuki Tsunoda as a kid

Ever since debuting in F1 2020 to partner Pierre Gasly at AlphaTauri, Yuki Tsunoda has won over the internet because of three things–his angry ranting while driving in a race, his short and cute stature, and his frequent cameos in the paddock photos of all the racers, especially his teammate. And Pierre Gasly is known to have started many F1 Instagram trends such as the “like by Pierre Gasly” phenomenon.

This time, Pierre’s race weekend “photo dumps” showing multiple pictures of Yuki Tsunoda has convinced the fans that no other racer should be allowed to post a string of pictures from their Grand Prix weekends if they do not include one Gulo picture in the pile. Thus, when Lewis Hamilton had posted a carousel of photos from the United States GP, many fans told him to add a picture of Yuki somewhere in there.

The seven-time World Champion complied with the wishes of his followers, and while sharing photos from the Mexican Grand Prix, he made sure to add Yuki’s picture–but it was not what fans might have expected.

Making the attempt to have a little fun online, Lewis Hamilton decided to share a screen grab of his fan commenting that his photo dumps from the Grand Prix weekends would be incomplete without a Yuki Tsunoda snap. And then, he also included the much-asked-for picture of the AlphaTauri driver—but the photo was taken way back when Yuki was only a kid. He is seen posing in front of Hamilton’s poster, while what many fans suspect to be Fernando Alonso’s car, rests beside the young Japanese.
