Carlos Sainz has had to go through a tough last couple of weeks at Ferrari. He has been replaced on the team by Lewis Hamilton from 2025 onwards but despite this fact, he has made it known that he is not worried about his future in F1.
Carlos Sainz has been competing in the sport for a long time and has a really good reputation. He firmly believes that he is one of the top drivers in F1 and thus, is optimistic about his prospects from the 2025 season onwards.
While talking about the same in a conversation with Sky Sports, he said, as reported by Motorsport:
No, I'm not disappointed – he immediately made it clear – experiencing Ferrari from the inside I already knew several things and I prepared myself with the team in view of future changes. I am aware of how much I am worth as a rider and for this reason when I look to the future I am very calm. Good things will definitely come, but for now my goal is to give my best with Ferrari.
The 29-year-old has made it clear that despite losing out on the coveted Ferrari seat, he is quite calm about it. He has indicated that he is well aware of his worth as a racing driver and thus, is not too worried about what the future holds for him from 2025 onwards. Sainz has been linked with a potential move to teams like Mercedes, Audi, and Red Bull.
Carlos Sainz was the only non-Red Bull driver to secure a win in 2023
While Carlos Sainz will be forced to pack his bags and look for a new home at the end of the 2024 F1 season, one has to remember that he still is a really fast driver. Moreover, in a 2023 campaign that was dominated by Max Verstappen, Sainz was the only non-Red Bull driver who was able to score a Grand Prix win.
The Spaniard managed to achieve the feat at the Singapore Grand Prix. Red Bull uncharacteristically, had an off weekend and he made the most of it. He started the race from the pole position after a stellar qualifying outing and backed it up with a flawless 62-lap stint during the race.

Carlos Sainz was put under some late pressure by Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton but despite this, he was able to hold his own. However, with Sainz leaving Ferrari at the end of this year, he will try to go out with a bang by putting in a strong 2024 F1 season.
