Be it on the track, or off of it, the brilliant Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz always manage to put a smile on their fan’s face with their new and unconventional ventures. Reports that have emerged recently, say that the two Scuderia racers will voice a legendary cartoon character in the Disney Pixar movie “Lightyear”.

Disney Pixar is known to be one of the most successful animation houses in the world, as their movies has received multiple accolades from the Recording Academy in the US, the BAFTA, etc. And one of their most successful franchises has been the “Toy Story” movies that was first released in 1995.

“Lightyear” is going to be a Toy Story spin-off, with the spotlight on one of the most-loved Toy Story characters–Buzz Lightyear. And Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc will voice Lightyear’s character in Italian, while Carlos Sainz will do the same in the Spanish versions of the movie.

Ferrari racers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have been performing well in the F1 2022 Grands Prix that have happened till now. While Charles Leclerc has got two race wins in the six races as of now, Carlos Sainz has got 3 podium finishes and is currently fifth in the WDC Standings.

With such an illustrious career on the track, Carlos and Charles wanted to take up an offbeat task away from the revving of the engines of their F1 cars. And now, reports have come out claiming that both of them have signed up for voice roles in the Italian and Spanish versions of the “Lightyear” movie.

While reacting to this news, Charles Leclerc said, “It was my first voice acting cameo. It was a completely different experience from what I have done in the past. It was a bit strange and much harder than I thought.” He also said, “It was a great ​experience, and I can’t want to see the final result.
