Christian Horner has been making headlines for the past few weeks as the 50-year-old was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female Red Bull employee.

The Christian Horner investigation saga has been receiving multiple new additions every passing day. Following Red Bull’s decision to clear all allegations against the Briton, an alleged data leak had resurrected the discussions. Horner reckoned that others in the paddock potentially took advantage of the entire matter.

The 50-year-old highlighted the real reason behind the status quo gaining so much popularity so quickly. Additionally, Christian Horner asserted that the media was ‘very trying’ in many respects. The media chased the case more for creating ‘headlines’ over the entire matter. Especially, Horner’s family including his wife Geri Halliwell was dragged into the case due to the severe allegations.

The only reason that this has gained so much attention, obviously, is because of the leakage and the tension that there’s been drawn in the media, Which has been very, very trying, in many respects. Particularly for my family, because it’s all been focused very much in one direction.

Additionally, Christian Horner claimed that the people took advantage of the entire case. Hence, the entire investigation saga gained more traction than it should’ve because of others on the grid. Subsequently, Horner added that this was the ‘not so pretty’ side of the Formula 1 business.

What has happened then after is that others have looked to take advantage of it. Unfortunately Formula 1 is a competitive business and there’s been obviously elements looking to benefit from it. That’s perhaps the not so pretty side of our industry.

Christian Horner reiterated how he couldn’t share other details of the investigation saga

The entire case was kept completely private from everyone on the grid by Red Bull drivers and crew members. Additionally, Max Verstappen had given a blunt response before the verdict. Red Bull even refused to share an investigation report of the entire investigation. Hence, everyone was suspicious of the entire investigation saga and required details.

Christian Horner had previously denied all claims and refused to comment further over the result of Red Bull’s independent investigation. Hence, the team principal reiterated how he couldn’t speak much about the case even though he wanted to. The team decided to keep the entire results confidential and suspended the female employee who made the claims.

Regardless of the issues that Christian Horner has been facing, Red Bull continues to race down the season as intended. Milton Keynes has developed a dominant challenger for the drives and maximized points during the season-opener Bahrain GP. Currently, the team is preparing for the Saudi Arabian GP.
