After joining Williams in 2017, the now 24-year-old is in his sixth season in F1. Since reaching the highest level of racing, Stroll has faced pressure from a few who believe he is only there because of his father Lawrence’s money. Stroll’s father has made significant investments in the teams for which Lance has driven, and he presently owns the Aston Martin Formula One Team.

While his seat appears to be always safe due to his Father, others may say he has earned his spot on merit. Stroll won Formula 3 and Formula 4 before joining F1, and he finished on the podium in his maiden season, becoming the youngest rookie to do so. Since then, he’s won a pole and two podiums, all of which came in his career-best season of 2020, when he placed eleventh in the Drivers’ Championship with 75 points.
