“When does this pain end?” – Fans disappointed as Charles Leclerc shares heartbreaking reaction to tragedy in his first lap at Brazilian GP

The Brazilian GP rolled in to mark the third-last race of the 2023 season. This year has seen some ups and downs in Ferrari’s performance, but Charles Leclerc is yet to win a Grand Prix till now. On the other hand, the Monegasque’s teammate Carlos Sainz has been the only non-Red Bull driver to snatch a race victory with his win at the Singapore GP. While the Tifosis were overwhelmed with Sainz’s feat, they hoped Charles Leclerc would soon put his talents on display and get a resounding victory in the remaining races.

But spilling water on the hopes of his hundreds of thousands of fans, Charles Leclerc has a horrific start to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The Ferrari recruit crashed into the wall before the first lap kicked off, thus having to retire from a race that he did not even technically start. It all happened during the formation lap when Charles suddenly spun into the barriers at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace.

After a stellar performance at the Qualifying on Friday, Charles was scheduled to start the Brazil GP from the first row alongside reigning World Champion Max Verstappen. Later, Charles Leclerc said there was a hydraulic failure in his Ferrari which sabotaged his race before it even began.
