“Frustrating but not the end of the world,” Lando Norris after Miami crash

Lando Norris
During the Miami GP, Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly made contact with each other, after Gasly was coming back on the track and didn’t look into his left mirror, and the McLaren and AlphaTauri collided, resulting in Lando’s crash and retirement from the race.
This upset the British, saying it was a silly mistake from Gasly’s side as he should have looked into his mirror. Pierre Gasly was trying to get to the pits after having a slight contact with Fernando Alonso, but on turn 8, he failed to look back and both the drivers collided.

Norris stated that if the driver is retiring from the race, they should look out for other cars and not make a silly mistake like this.
According to him, Pierre Gasly was completely at fault in the incident.
“I think what he did was silly,” Norris calls out Pierre Gasly.

According to Lando Norris, he (Gasly) was on the radio and there was some information about him retiring from the race, and in that case, what he did was really “silly.”
“If you’re going to retire, you just get out the way of people racing.
“He was looking in his right mirror, he was drifting across the track. A shame.
“Of course you could say maybe I could have left a bit more room, but I don’t expect him to just try and stay in the middle. A shame.
“We maybe could have scored an eighth place, ninth place, which is a couple of points, better than none. It would have been nice but it didn’t end that way.
“Frustrating, but not the end of the world,” Norris said, quoted by PlanetF1.
After failing to score a point in the race, Norris stands 7th in the championship with 35 points, and Gasly 13th with 6 points.
