“He spat his dummy out,” George Russell passes ruthless remark on PATHETIC Max Verstappen move in Baku Sprint
George Russell targeted Max Verstappen once again after claiming at an interview that there is no need to clear any air between them post their Baku Sprint altercation.

Max Verstappen has managed to ruffle the feathers of a Mercedes racer–and this time, it is not Lewis Hamilton, rather, it is his teammate George Russell. Verstappen had an altercation with the Briton at the Azerbaijan GP Sprint which resulted in the Red Bull driver throwing some choice words in Russell’s direction. It had all started when George Russell‘s car collided with Max Verstappen‘s, and the Silver Arrow took away a chunk off of the RB-19. During the radio communication with his team, Max Verstappen did not shy away from calling his colleague a “d***head”.
Going into the Miami Grand Prix, there has been a lot of discussion on the dynamics between Max and George. In fact, Mercedes Boss Toto Wolff got involved in the issue as he commented Max Verstappen never targets any other driver the way he does Lewis. But George Russell has refused to back down now. Even though he said at an interview that he saw “no need” to clear the air between Max and himself, he went back on his words within a few hours, and slammed the Dutchman for his hateful words.
At first, fans were surprised to find George Russell handling the situation with poise as Max Verstappen did not waste any opportunity to drag the Briton. Max even called him “princess George” during his post-race interview, but George said he would shake hands with the Red Bull driver if he needed to. But now, George has called Max’s behavior “poor“, saying that the Dutchman has been “a little bit pathetic“.
George Russell has claimed he gave Max Verstappen a taste of his own medicine

Max Verstappen is known for his rough racing, where he has mercilessly cornered opponents to get to the top spot in a Grand Prix. At the Baku Sprint, the roles had reversed as George Russell had a contact with Verstappen, causing the Dutchman to get overly angry over the incident. But George Russell believes Max should have been prepared to tackle his move since he himself attacks his rivals like that sometimes. Speaking on this, George said, “I think something you learn as a kid is if you’re going to give something you’ve got to be willing to take it as well.”
George Russell continued, “He’s had his fair share of giving moves like that and being tough and hard at racing and it’s a little bit poor to see how he sort of spat his dummy out when it was the first time he probably got something back in the same regard.”
For Max Verstappen, before focusing on George Russell being a threat, he has to manage his own teammate Sergio Perez from becoming the main obstacle on this path towards a World Championship hattrick. Currently, the gap between the two racers is of 6 points only, and should Perez win the Miami GP, he will get to the top of the Drivers’ Standings for the first time in his career. Hence, it remains to be seen who gets to have the last laugh following the showdown in Miami–Max with his aim to get a third title, or Sergio with the goal of snatching a career-first Championship trophy.
