Christian Horner has decided to give his take on what he thinks about the current team that Seb is racing for. He believes Vettel is a driver suited to top teams, and he does not deserve to be in a midfield team like Aston Martin.
Christian Horner says Sebastian Vettel deserved more than what Aston Martin could give him

Sebastian Vettel had been a force of nature during his tenure at Red Bull, and even now, the Boss of the British team, Christian Horner, showered praise on the German for all the glory that he had brought to the Milton-Keynnes-based outfit. Horner said, “Sebastian, in his time with us, was incredible. He came as a junior. I think the thing that stood out about Seb was from the very beginning, you could see he was a very focused young man, and his work ethic was totally Germanic. It’s not nice to see him running around in the middle of the field, he doesn’t deserve to be there.”
When Christian Horner was asked about his predictions for Sebastian Vettel future outside of F1, he said, “I’m sure he’s going to go on and do some great things, but It’ll be sad not to see him around. But I think the timing is right for him.” Thus, the Briton approved Vettel’s decision to end his F1 run now and pursue his other interests, and maybe even venture into other Championships like IndyCar, Formula E, etc.
