The current Formula 1 2022 season is almost at an end now, with only five Grands Prix left on the roster. And as we are nearing the announcement of this year’s Championship results, the participating teams and their drivers are getting more and more determined to score as many points as they can, to end their run on a hopeful note. And Ferrari is no exception to the rule.

While the Scuderia Ferrari started off their year as the Championship favorite, their results fell apart as the season progressed and in the end, they could not keep up the contest with Red Bull for the trophy and the title. But that does not mean that the Maranello outfit has given up all hope and is going to dial down their efforts for scoring as many points in the remaining races as possible.

Only a few days ago, Carlos Sainz expressed his wish that Ferrari push for more wins, no matter if the season is already coming to an end and Red Bull has all but won this year’s Constructors’ Championship. Ending the year on a high would boost the morale for the team so that they can achieve better results in the upcoming 2023 F1 Championship season.

And Ferrari is also apparently working on making some changes to the car so that they can target some race victories in the last few Grands Prix. Their mechanics were apparently adding a new floor upgrade to boost the F1-75’s performance in Suzuka. Now, it only remains to be seen if this upgrade manages to bring more points for the Italian team, or if it causes them any technical troubles in Japan.
