Barcelona was previously where the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer resided with her now-estranged partner Gerard Pique. Since their split, Shakira moved to Miami, but she was in Spain for leaving her children with Gerard when she decided to make a beeline for the Grand Prix and meet Lewis. PEOPLE have confirmed from a source close to both Lewis Hamilton and Shakira that the two are almost on the verge of becoming a full-blown couple. Speaking of the seven-time F1 World Champion’s blossoming romance with the Latina diva, the source said, “They’re spending time together and in the ‘getting to know you’ stage. It’s fun and flirty.”
