F1

Formula One is the pinnacle of motor racing and it is an extremely difficult task in the sport to go on a winning run. However, despite the challenges of F1, there have been drivers in its history who have managed to register consecutive wins.

Former Mercedes driver, Nico Rosberg in his career, managed to go on a winning run of 7 races, and the same was achieved by late. Alberto Ascari for the Ferrari Formula One team.

The first name on the list is that of current Aston Martin driver, Sebastian Vettel. The German during his Red Bull days was a one-man wrecking machine who decimated the competition for four years in a row.

The 35-year-old is at the top of the ladder when it comes to winning the most number of consecutive races. Vettel in his long F1 career has managed to make a record of winning 9 consecutive races. His race wins came in the year 2013 when he went on a winning spree from Belgium onwards and ultimately it came to an end in Brazil.

Michael Schumacher

Next up on the list is none other than the great Michael Schumacher. In his racing days, the German was considered one the best to ever step foot in F1.

Moreover, he was able to back his superior reputation by winning races for fun in the sport. Schumacher was a prized commodity during his time and raced for four different teams.

In his long career, the German managed 91 Grand Prix wins and in the process, set quite a few records. Michael Schumacher went on a winning run thrice in his F1 career, and the longest winning streak that he was able to achieve was 7 race wins that came in 2004. The other two streaks comprised 5 and 6 race wins.

Max Verstappen

F1 is well known all over the World and the bulk of the credit for it goes to the old goats of the sport. However, the younger generation is also not leaving any stone unturned in their bid to achieve massive things, and the prime example of this is none other than the 2021 World Champion, Max Verstappen.

The Dutchman has been riding high on confidence ever since securing his maiden F1 title and has looked in supreme form during the 2022 F1 season. Moreover, he is currently on a streak of 5 consecutive race wins.

Verstappen’s winning spree started in France and is still in full swing with six races remaining on the 2022 F1 calendar. If he is somehow able to continue his winning run in upcoming races, then Sebastian Vettel’s record of 9 consecutive Grand Prix Wins can come under huge threat.
