The Formula One mid-season break is currently underway and the racers are taking full advantage of the time away from the tracks. For the better part of the year, the top 20 racecar drivers in the world are busy traveling to far-off places for the Grands Prix, thus it is impossible for them to spend time with their loved ones regularly.
As the summer break is nearing its end, Charles Leclerc has flown away on a trip with his new ladylove Alexandra Saint-Mleux, George Russell has posted pictures with his girlfriend Carmen Mundt, and Lewis Hamilton has kept his fans up to date on his daily adventures with beloved pet Roscoe. But for the current World Championship leader Max Verstappen, the holidays have been all about his partner Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope as they have toured together in the Mediterranean.
25-year-old Max Verstappen first met Kelly Piquet, the daughter of the former Brazilian F1 Champion Nelson Piquet years ago. According to Kelly’s Vogue Netherlands interview, they had an instant connection. Prior to this, Kelly was dating another Toro Rosso-Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat. She has a daughter with the Russian, named Penelope Kvyat. Kelly and Max have now been going strong for around three years and she can regularly be seen cheering him on from the sidelines after his magnificent race victories.

Thanks to Kelly Piquet’s Vogue model portfolio, she has an impeccable dressing style that is quite obvious in all of the photos that she posted from her vacation with Max. And even though the Red Bull driver is almost always spotted in his racing suit when it is not the off-season, he matched Kelly’s style with some smart outfits himself. In one of the photos posted by the 25-year-old racer, Max Verstappen had his arms around Kelly’s waist as she glowed in a white slingy dress. And in another, Max showed off his bare torso as he based in the sun in the middle of the sea.
As all good things never last long, Max Verstappen has to get back to work after spending so much time with Kelly Piquet for the Dutch Grand Prix in his homeland on the 27th of August. The current season could not have gone better for the Dutch lion as he has won all but two races that have been held till now. It is all but confirmed that Max Verstappen will make his World Championship hat-trick this year and it only remains to be seen how long his fans will have to wait before the results are officially announced.
