For the first time, viewers will be able to see an official Max Verstappen grandstand during the Spanish Grand Prix in 2023. Max won his maiden Formula One race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in 2016. For many Verstappen fans, this is a special place. The news was posted on the official website (verstappen.com) of the Dutch driver.

Grandstand G will be converted into the official Max Verstappen grandstand. The numbered grandstand offers an excellent sight of right turn 12 in front of Grandstand B, the brief straight in front of the structure, and the 90-degree right turn 13 at the Grandstand’s conclusion, as well as the other short straight to the next 90-degree left turn 14.

Max Verstappen has a strong connection with Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Dutchman won his first Formula One race there in 2016. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg of Mercedes collided, destroying both vehicles. Meanwhile, Verstappen and Red Bull competed for victory against Ferrari, with Verstappen eventually emerging as the superior driver. Verstappen became the youngest race winner ever with his triumph, a record that stands to this day.

History of Max Verstappen with Driver Grandstands

Max Verstappen

The hype about a Drive’s Grandstand has been increasing rapidly. It has become an iconic milestone for not just the racers but also their enthusiasts. Fortunately for the Orange Army, Max Verstappen has more than one Grandstand dedicated to him. As of 2023, the reigning world champion has six grandstands. Verstappen fans could very well now gather in recently introduced Spain and Las Vegas to chant “SUPER MAX”. Red Bull fans can grab a ticket anytime from the racer’s official website.

The Belgian Grand Prix, like the Austrian Grand Prix, has been flooded with Verstappen fans in recent years as their half-countryman has ascended up the F1 ladder. Until the Dutch Grand Prix entered the calendar in 2020, Verstappen’s de facto home race was the Belgian Grand Prix. The Hungarian Grand Prix is the third event to feature a dedicated Verstappen Grandstand.

Fans in this grandstand watched Verstappen’s maiden Formula 1 pole position in 2019. The stand is positioned on the Main Straight of the Hungarian Grand Prix. It provides views of the starting grid, pit lane, and the track’s final corners. When it comes to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, he won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix on his start for Red Bull Racing at the age of 18, becoming the youngest-ever driver and the first Dutch driver to do it. Another celebration for Verstappen and his Orange Army. It is most likely that the young driver will make history again and his fans deserve the best view of it.
