For French racer Pierre Gasly, his days as an F1 driver at AlphaTauri are now coming to an end as it was announced a few days ago that he has taken up the offer to go for Fernando Alonso‘s seat at Alpine. A few months earlier, the two-time World Champion had declared his move to Aston Martin to take Sebastian Vettel‘s place in the team, and that had left the seat in the French team beside Esteban Ocon up for grabs.

Pierre Gasly has had a long history with AlphaTauri. As an exceptional racer recruited under the Red Bull Academy, Gasly got the chance to debut with Toro Rosso (the previous form of AlphaTauri) as a full-time driver in 2018. Only a year later, he got the call to join Red Bull following Daniel Ricciardo’s departure. But Pierre Gasly’s time in the British team was unimpressive, and he was demoted to their sister team, Toro Rosso, once again, and he has stayed with the Italian team ever since.

Throughout these years, Pierre Gasly has made it clear that he is still waiting for Red Bull to call him, but now, it has become quite evident that he is not going back to the team. And whatever time he has left with his teammate Yuki Tsunoda in AlphaTauri, he seems to be spending that with gleeful joy as a video was posted on the internet of the two of them trying out karaoke in Japan, and fans reacted to the duo’s playful singing with their hilarious comments.

While Pierre Gasly has been in AlphaTauri, previously known as Toro Rosso, for quite a long time, Yuki Tsunoda joined the team in 2021. And in the two years that they have driven together for, they have formed a friendship that fans cherish because of their adorable videos that make it to the internet every now and then.

So, when the AlphaTauri duo went to a Japanese karaoke studio to sing their hearts out, fans risked getting their ears permanently damaged by listening to their performance. And then they reacted in all sorts of hilarious manners–

While some of the fans were worried for their ears, the others simply lapped up the funny content as they felt they needed it to get through the day–

One of the fans even came up with a creative soluion to his problems of sleeping in. He decided to set Gasly and Tsunoda’s songs as his phone alarm, as he believes this would definitely wake him up from the deepest of sleeps–

And finally, some fans pointed out the inevitable move of Pierre Gasly to a new team at the end of this season. But they demanded Gasly return to AlphaTauri to film some of these hilarious videos with Yuki Tsunoda as their collab videos are always really funny!

In other news, Pierre Gasly has had a rather underwhelming season in 2022. With his move to Alpine next year, he expects to achieve better results for the team, and himself as the French team is currently fourth in the Championship after Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes. It only remains to be seen how Gasly’s career pans out once he takes the seat beside Ocon in 2023.
