“Once again proving why he is the best,” Fans hail Max Verstappen after dominant victory at Paul Ricard

After the exciting end to the French Grand Prix, we have finally gotten our winner for the evening at the Circuit Paul Ricard and it is none other than the reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, who successfully advanced his lead over title rival Max Verstappen after securing the P1 spot in France. While Charles Leclerc‘s Ferrari had had the upper hand over Red Bull all through the weekend, a very elemental mistake made the Monegasque crash into one of the sidewalls while going around a corner and that caused Leclerc to DNF from the race, simply handing over the race lead to Verstappen.
While Charles Leclerc walked out of the French Grand Prix having lost out on a guaranteed race victory, his teammate Carlos Sainz fought tooth and nail for a podium finish, but he could not get it due to a five second penalty that he had to serve in the pitstop. The Spaniard put up a great fight and came up to the fifth spot from the very back of the grid where he had had to start the race after incurring an engine penalty.
In the end, the results were hugely in Red Bull’s favor as their Championship hope Max Verstappen got back-to-back race wins in Circuit Paul Ricard after his victory in the 2021 French GP, and Sergio Perez got a P4 finish behind the two Mercedes’, who enjoyed a double podium today. Ferrari got a P5 finish from Carlos Sainz, while Charles Leclerc was left wailing into the team radio as he could not believe that a single mistake had cost his the entire race.
Fans congratulate Max Verstappen for getting the French GP win, but criticize Ferrari for Leclerc’s DNF

Fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their thoughts on the French Grand Prix results. While they were all quite happy for Max Verstappen securing his twenty seventh career victory thus equalling Sir Jackie Stewart’s numbers, many of the fans criticized Ferrari. As it appears, Charles Leclerc complained that his throttle was not working when he crashed into the sidewall, and a similar problem has occurred to his car in Austria two weeks ago as well. Now, fans are demanding why Ferrari never properly repaired Leclerc’s car, although the Monegasque has taken the sole responsibility of his DNF on his shoulders alone.
Once again proving why he’s the best right now… Stunningly calm under pressure… Flawless drive… Super Max ???
