The Milton Keynes-based Red Bull F1 team has had a very dominant stint this season. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have collectively scored a record-breaking 20 victories this season which is the highest constructor wins by two drivers in a single season. Ralf Schumacher has now commented on this dominion.

Ex-driver Ralf Schumacher highlighted the dominant run from Red Bull and further acknowledged the increasing threat from other teams to Red Bull. Schumacher also brought up the last remaining race and added that he was looking forward to it.

Red Bull are coming under a bit of pressure, The teams have gotten closer. That makes the whole thing exciting. We only have one more race, so I’m looking forward to that.

Max Verstappen not only scored the 18th victory at the Las Vegas GP but also scored his 53rd victory in Formula 1. This victory has now totaled Max Verstappen with Sebastian Vettel in terms of race victories. Verstappen has etched his name in the record books by putting forth such an amazing season.

Even Sergio Perez scored an impressive comeback after the mid-season slump. The Mexican driver has sealed his runner-up spot in the drivers’ championship and Lewis Hamilton, the subsequent driver, cannot overtake him. Both the drivers have worked well with each other and lifted the team to an unmatchable spot.

Ralf Schumacher believes Max Verstappen can equal Lewis Hamilton’s record

The Briton Lewis Hamilton tops the race victories table with an astonishing 103 victories. Max Verstappen is a long shot away from this total race win count. However, if the Dutch driver stays in the sport for longer he can overtake Hamilton. When questioned about this, Ralf Schumacher also believed that Verstappen has the trajectory to surpass Lewis Hamilton in terms of race wins.

Schumacher also raised multiple questions about the possibility of continuous domination from Max Verstappen in the subsequent seasons. He put forth questions if Verstappen even wanted to continue his career in F1 for that long and if he was always provided with a dominant car much like the RB19 in the following seasons to match race wins record with Hamilton.

The Red Bulls have had a very successful stint this season and they are creating history in the name of Formula 1. With just one race remaining on the calendar, Max Verstappen aims to even score a victory in the final race of the season to have a blast of an end to the season.
