The gesture comes in the midst of drama at Red Bull over firing of female employee.

VisaCashAppRB, the sister team of Red Bull Racing has come up with a wholesome way to celebrate international women’s day. Before the Saudi Grand Prix, VCARB wrote the names of all of their female employees on the car, which was an interesting touch. A number of rival racers have shown up to honour International Women’s Day.
The celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) originated with early 20th-century campaigns to advance women’s rights with Mercedes coming up first in 2021. Formula 1 during 1950 introduced its first driver Maria Teresa de Filippis. Formula 1 had total of 4 women driver in its history. With its last driver Giovanna Amati driving for Braham. But in recent years Formula 1 has again introduced women in the sport.
Formula One established the F1 Academy, a single-seater racing competition exclusively for women. a women-only racing series with the goal of training and advancing young drivers to compete at higher levels. It was designed to make the switch from karting to the single-seater ladder easier. It was confirmed that five teams with prior Formula 2 and Formula 3 experience would compete in the series.

Following a near-miss on the cool-down lap, Daniel Ricciardo and teammate Yuki Tsunoda discussed the situation behind closed doors in the hours following the Bahrain Grand Prix. Tsunoda became irritated when he was instructed to make way for Ricciardo so that his teammate, who was running soft tires, could try to pass Kevin Magnussen for the 12th-place position.

Although Ricciardo was unable to get past the Haas, he was not instructed to return the position. After the checkered flag, Tsunoda decisively passed the Australian during braking and nearly made contact with him as he returned to the racetrack. According to Ricciardo, there is no fight between the two because the issue was discussed right away following the race.
Ricciardo said he thinks that the race situation is something that, obviously, can happen. Riccardo then added Drivers never like team orders, so if a driver doesn’t react straight away it’s not it’s like the first time that has ever happened. But it will be interesting to see who will finish higher in driver standings of Ricciardo and Tsunoda.
