Report: FIA reveal no new update for Max Verstappen’s RB-18 in Miami

The Red Bull RB18
Red Bull‘s journey in the all-new 2022 season of Formula 1 so far has been an interesting one. While the team, headed by Team Principal Christian Horner and Advisor Dr. Helmut Marko, could not perform well due to the reliability issues in the RB-18 in the first two races of this year, they quickly recovered, came up with some solutions for their troubles and delivered amazing results in the Australian GP and the Imola GP.
Thus, it has already been proved that Red Bull’s research and development team has been working day and night to better their performance and gain an upper hand on their nearest rivals–Scuderia Ferrari. The improvements and upgradations that Red Bull introduced in Imola have worked in their favour as they scored a 1-2 podium finish in Italy.
But, as the FIA or the International Automobile Federation has revealed, no new upgrades are on the schedule for Red Bull in the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. This is a crucial point because Ferrari might be introducing some changes to their SF-75 in Miami, but Red Bull will race with the same configurations that they used in Imola.

Before the start of the year, every team that competes in Formula 1 has to submit a schedule to the FIA which will dictate the races in which the teams can introduce changes that they make to their cars. This is a predetermined list of dates, and it is unchangeable under normal situations.
While all eyes are on Red Bull now as they have shown massive improvement from their previous races by scoring a double podium finish for both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez in Imola, the team cannot introduce any more changes to the cars now, as revealed by the FIA.
Meanwhile, Ferrari can upgrade their cars and maybe, they will have the upper hand in Miami this weekend with their newly improved machines. Not just Red Bull, but teams like Alpha Tauri and Aston Martin are also not going to introduce any new changes for their cars as of now.
