It just didn’t come together, Probably that’s what was in the car. But our expectations were higher temperatures.
Wolff said, as reported by racefans.net.

Wolff also expressed his agitation over explaining time and again about the bad performance of the car and why it didn’t go well. Finally, the boss exclaimed that he was glad that this was the last qualifying session and that they could just put the W14 behind them and look forward to the next season.

I’m fed up with having explanations why it didn’t go well, We were good in the hot, we weren’t in the cold, the previous day it was the other way around. So I’m happy that this was the last qualifying of the season and we’re going to come with a new car.
