Mercedes pulls a prank on Lewis Hamilton and George Russell

The Mercedes Formula 1 team has had a long 2022 season. The struggles at the start of the year with the W13’s porpoising issues put the team on the back foot for the whole year. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell had a tough time getting up to pace, with the Silver Arrows managing only 1 Grand Prix victory with George Russell at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Hamilton, on the other hand, had his first winless season in the sport. As the F1 season finally came to an end, the team looks forward to reclaiming its top spot on the grid.

However it seems that the team members are enjoying their time away from the sport, as recently the social media team decided to delve into some shenanigans. In a video posted on Twitter, the team decides to swap out the nameplates in front of the rooms of Hamilton and Russell, with the popular Tiktok audio, “How would they know” playing in the background. It seems that the audio portrays two people deliberating over pulling off this hilarious prank, where one is all for it while the other tries to stop them and says, “I just can’t.”

The caption on Twitter read, “Nobody’s gonna know” in accordance with the prank. This would certainly be worth looking at in the next couple of days when Hamilton or Russell enter into supposedly their respective rooms and find out it’s filled with the stuff of their teammate! Or what if they do not notice at all? The two drivers continue to live their day as normal before finally one of them spots the strangeness of their rooms. The surprise on their faces would be fun to watch.
