As the current Formula 1 2022 season is in its last few months right now, the anticipation of the frenzied fans has reached an all-time high. With both Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc keeping their eyes on the prize for the Championship title, the races from here on are obviously going to be more interesting as there is a lot at stake here. German racer and the Aston Martin driver who is currently in his last year in F1, Sebastian Vettel, holds the title for the most number of GP victories in Singapore. The country has held F1 races since 1966, but the venue was changed and the Singapore GP was completely revamped when it made a return to the calendars in 2008. The first race which was held at Marina Bay saw Fernando Alonso as the winner, driving for Renault. Before Marina Bay, the Singapore GP was organized at Thomson Road.

Sebastian Vettel got his first victory in Singapore back in 2011 with his mighty Red Bull. Since then, the German bagged back-to-back wins at Marina Bay in 2013 as well as 2014. And the racer returned to the first place on the podium once again in 2015, this time as a Ferrari recruit. Overall, Sebastian Vettel has 5 wins in Singapore, and this year, he will be back to the place for one last run before he says goodbye to the sport for his retirement.
