During their 2022 outing, both Max Verstappen and Marc Marquez went on to inspire individuals with their stints this season. Max went on to seal his second F1 drivers title this year showing absolute dominance. Meanwhile, Marc went on to take a break from the sport due to a surgery but made a comeback and showed everyone that he still has what it takes to win his 7th riders championship.

Both the Verstappen and Marquez share a special bond as they are both Red Bull Athletes. Due to this, they get to collaborate at times making the Red Bull content an even sweeter treat. When it comes to Red Bull interviews or simply training together, them being backed by the energy drinks manufacturer makes it all possible for this to take place.

Max Verstappen and Marc Marquez also have Honda as their main collaborator with the Japanese manufacturer powering both the drivers. However their success in F1 with Red Bull Racing is on a gradual high while their MotoGP stint isn’t going that well. Although, when it comes to racing, the two champions share the same mindset and have some pretty similar traits.

Whilst in an interview, Max Verstappen spoke highly of Marc Marquez. “What I like about Marc Marquez is that he is a fighter, he never gives up”, the Dutch driver said. “So he is very determined, he is a tough rider.” To this Marc replied “Max is ambitious and I like that. Then clearly talented. And a killer. In sports you have to be a killer if you want to be the best.”

Marquez further went on to praise the 2 time world champion. “The quality I admire most in him? The way to manage pressure. I mean, a lot of riders are fast, they’re talented and they go fast in practice. But then in the race, in the moment, on that day? Managing all that pressure is the hardest thing to do and he does it very well,” he said.

Max Verstappen was in complete agreement to Marc’s statement. “And Marc has been, even if these last few years have been tough for him because of the injury. Before he got hurt, I woke up in the morning waiting for the race knowing that he would win it 99%. I love MotoGP and it’s incredible, I can’t wait to see him in full form again.”

Both these racers have overcome hardships and have gone onto achieve success in their respective sports at a very young age. Max Verstappen and Marc Marquez are also the youngest race winners in their respective categories. Both of them have managed to give the fans the thrill and adrenaline rush that they needed so much with their incredible racing manoeuvres.
