It wasn’t the best of times for Jadon Sancho at Manchester United. The end was a result of his dislikes growing for the club, while the Red Devils wanted no more of the English winger either. After loads of waiting, Sancho was picked up by Chelsea and his arrival at Stamford Bridge has been greeted with rousing reception. Sancho has been linked with an assist in every single game, a testimony to the kind of quality that he brings to the table.
In the ongoing Premier League, he has been a part of three matches and has knitted together three assists, just the kind of reason that Chelsea bought him ahead of the Premier League. Sancho, however, has not missed out a single opportunity to try and rub salt on the wounds of Manchester United. In a growing list of incidents, Jadon Sancho reposted one of the snaps shared by Chelsea where he was seen smiling and celebrating with Cole Palmer after their goal against Brighton.
The celebrations and the repost of the picture have left the world in splits and the fans have been divided over this. Not only did the Manchester United supporters feel infuriated with the post but they were also quick to point out that this is just momentary success for Sancho and a lot of things are yet to come to limelight. Chelsea fans on the other hand, were delighted with the show and loved every moment of it.
It looks like that Sancho has found his foothold and speed back which has been instrumental in defining him. Chelsea has also been in great nick as they are currently in the fourth position with 13 points, just two adrift of the table-toppers Liverpool while being one behind Manchester City and Arsenal.
Here is what X had to say about Jadon Sancho and Chelsea
The fans have been relentless in pointing out the fact that possibly it was just an ego clash between Erik ten Hag and Sancho that led to the fallout between the two and not exactly the playing stature of the latter. However, if keeping Ten Hag aside, Sancho wasn’t exactly great under Michael Carrick and Ralf Rangnick either.
However, fans would be hoping for his incredible form to continue as Chelsea dictates proceedings in the ongoing Premier League. Apart from their fine run in the PL, they were also clinical in the third round of the Carabao Cup against Barrow as they were wrecked by a staggering 5-0 margin.
Chelsea has an important couple of fixtures lined up for them as they will be taking on the likes of Gent in the Europa Conference League on the 3rd, which will be followed by another important battle of the PL against Nottingham Forest. The last game saw them down Brighton emphatically by 4-2 as Cole Palmer rewrote the record books of Premier League with an incredible four-strike display.
