He joined the club in 2007 from Southampton as a left-back and transformed himself into one of the best wingers in Europe. He scored 42 goals in 143 appearances in his first year and left the club for Real Madrid for a record transfer fee of £85.3million. He once again joined Spurs in 2020-21, this time on loan and lived up to his reputation yet again scoring 11 goals in 20 Premier League appearances.

His passing ability and control of the game in midfield helped Spurs qualify for the Champions League in 2010. He made 127 appearances at the club before moving onto Real Madrid in 2012.

Eriksen went onto fulfill his duties perfectly at the middle of the park and served as a perfect heir to Luka Modric who had left the club the year before. Eriksen was known for his outside the box shooting abilities during his time at Spurs and scored 23 goals from the region during that time- a record in the Premier League. He left the club last year for Italian club Inter Milan.
