What a time to be alive for football fans around the world!!! The world has now encountered two consecutive days of thrilling encounters and utter shockers. After Belgium and Germany, Uruguay crashed out of the ongoing FIFA World Cup despite winning their penultimate match against Ghana.

The South American fans were starting to believe that they are going to be in the knockout phase when Hwang Hee-Chan scored the most important goal of his career against Portugal in injury time to take South Korea to the FIFA World Cup round of 16. Uruguay was leading 2-0 against Ghana and with the injury time to pass, they were quite comfortable with the lead of two gaols.

Twitter reactions on Uruguay’s elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup:

That South Korea goal which ensured their qualification to the round of 16.

Fans had absolutely gone crazy after Uruguay’s elimination from the ongoing FIFA World Cup with most of the indications turning towards the 2010 edition in South Africa when Luis Suarez denied Ghana a clear goal in the injury time of the quarter-finals which would have taken the African nation to the semi-finals.

Fans are bashing Suarez and are indicating that this was all caused by karma and that the evil has finally caught up with the Uruguay team and history has repeated itself but not in their favor this time. Some fans have brought his kids into the context and trolled him, saying he should now teach his sons to keep their hands in their own pockets.
