The 29-year-old Frenchman Paul Pogba was re-signed by Juventus last summer on a free transfer, but Paul Pogba’s second stint with the Old Lady has been cut short by injury. Juventus is losing patience with Pogba’s extended absence. Now, Juventus are ‘frustrated’ with the France international’s protracted absence due to injury and are planning to terminate his contract, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Allegri is reportedly considering selling Pogba, even though he only returned to Italy last summer.

Pogba got surgery after suffering a knee injury during Juventus’ preseason tour. The 2018 World Cup champion was expected to make his miraculous Juventus comeback for his team’s Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Lazio on Thursday. According to Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, Pogba has been ruled out of the previously mentioned match because of a relapse in his ailment. Juventus are ‘frustrated’ with the France international’s protracted absence due to injury and are planning to terminate his contract, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Allegri is reportedly considering selling Pogba, even though he only returned to Italy last summer. In April 2022, when Manchester United hosted Norwich, he played his last game as a starter. He did not feature in the 2022 World Cup due to his injury.

Pogba is yet to appear for Juventus this season. “Aside from Bonucci, who is still out, the only one who won’t be available due to flexor discomfort is Pogba,” Allegri said ahead of the Lazio encounter. “Unfortunately, when you’re out for an extended period and increase the intensity level, you experience soreness… He might be in peak condition in a few weeks. He needs his body to readjust, which will take some time; you must navigate by sight in these situations. From here to the end, we have to use him best possible way.”

Initially joining Juventus for £1.5 million in 2012, the midfielder from Manchester United thrived during his first stint in Turin. In 2016, United shattered the previous transfer record with a spectacular £89 million signing that brought him back to Old Trafford. Pogba ran down his contract during his second stint at United though, and the former Red Devils star left at the end of the previous campaign. After joining Juventus he hasn’t featured in any of the games recently and has become more of a problem rather than an asset.

Dusan Vlahovic wishes to join Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. Catalina Minarro, a Los Blancos board member, has intimated that president Florentino Perez will determine whether the club will return for Kylian Mbappe in the summer. The 23-year-old was in excellent form at Fiorentina before joining the Bianconeri, and now Max Allegri’s team is fighting to keep him.

According to Libertad Digital (via AS), Vlahovic has already informed his agent of his desire to join Real Madrid. The striker has a decent goal record for Juventus. Still, it appears that he has not been able to show his finest form, as Massimiliano Allegri’s side is currently focusing on a defensive-first style of play. The 23-year-old is worth €70 million, which the La Liga giants are unwilling to pay. If the Bianconeri refuse to lower their asking price, Real Madrid could sign Vlahovic on a one-year loan with a purchase option.

The Italian behemoths are also in tremendous difficulty right now. Juventus appeared to be on track to finish in the top four before being issued a 15-point deduction, dropping them to 13th after 20 league games. As a result, Vlahovic and numerous other big-name players could be on their way out in the near future. This season, the striker has made 16 appearances for the Serie A giants, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. Vlahovic is one of the most appealing players in the world and will expect other clubs to be interested in signing him. If Juventus do not make it to Europe, selling him will provide them with much-needed funds.
