Manchester United superstar Marcus Rashford reportedly rejected a move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer. As per reports, the move had a weekly salary of €455,000, which would have worked out at €22m/year for the dynamic Englishman.
The Athletic reported that Rashford turned down a whopping €455,000 a week from PSG. Marcus reportedly chose to remain at his boyhood club. He has shown phenomenal performances around this campaign under the new manager Erik ten Hag. He has been one of the best players in Europe this season.
Rashford has found the back of the net 27 times this season in 44 games. He has also got nine assists under his belt. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi himself confirmed his side’s interest in the dynamic attacker. He admitted that PSG were in talks with the Manchester United forward over a possible transfer move. Al-Khelaifi also declared that Paris Saint-Germain would return for the attacker when his contract expires in the summer of 2024.
In an interview, Al-Khelaifi said, “He’s another player who’s amazing and for free? To have Rashford for free, every club will run after him. We spoke before and are interested. But the moment was not a good moment for both side. In January, hopefully, we would be interested in talking to him.”
Manchester United are in a difficult situation with Rashford’s contract set to expire in 2024. The Red Devils are thought to be looking to trigger a 12-month contract extension to his current contract of the English attacker. The club is reportedly desperate to tie Rashford down with a new deal.

PSG CONTINUE TALKS WITH N’golo Kante over a possible transfer in the summer: Reports
PSG are reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, with Arsenal and Liverpool also believed to be chasing the out-of-contract France international. According to reports, PSG are in constant dialogue with the two-time Premier League champion over a stunning swoop for the midfielder, though Chelsea remain confident that Kante will choose to sign a new contract at the club rather than join PSG.
Earning a reported £ 290,000 a week, Kante is one of Chelsea’s best-paid players and one of the club’s biggest names. Kante has spent the majority of this season on the sideline through injury. He returned to action last week in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
Yet news of PSG still being in talks with Kante is a surprise, to say the least. And it could also be viewed as a potential blow for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, who are reportedly both interested in signing the Chelsea superstar. Provided he rejects a new deal with the Blues.
Although staying at Chelsea remains the most likely outcome for Kante, there’s no denying that PSG’s interest poses a huge threat to the midfielder staying in England, especially given that the French club is likely to go big in the market once again this summer. Arsenal and Liverpool will be kicking themselves if they miss out on Kante, yet for the player himself, a return to his home country and signing for PSG could be a great move for Kante. Especially with Chelsea in a state of transition under Graham Potter.
With Kante experiencing his first major injury in some time, playing in Ligue 1 could appeal to him. PSG often dominates the division. The France international is likely to be treated well and cared for in the prime years of his career.
