Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot of supporters and fans in Saudi Arabia as well.

The world has been left starstruck after Saudi Arabia produced one of the biggest upsets of this year’s FIFA World Cup. They humbled Argentina in their group opener and won the match with a 2-1 victory which has got their fans dreaming about qualification chances to the round of 16 stage.

Despite taking a lead in the first half and with three goals rules out for offsides, Argentina let Saudi Arabia come back and haunt them in the most grievous way possible. As soon as the final whistle was blown, all the players and the fans rose to celebrate what was a historic day for them.

The celebrations also continued outside the Lusail stadium, with several fans also taking to moment to mock Lionel Messi and Argentina by performing the famous Cristiano Ronaldo’s “Siuus” celebration. With the video going viral in just a few minutes, Messi and co. will have to fight back in their next match against Mexico on 27th November in what will be a do-or-die game for them.

Will Argentina be able to make it to the next stage?

Argentina was regarded as one of the prime contenders for this year’s FIFA World Cup and now having lost their opening match against a much more depleted side, Saudi Arabia, it has got the fans worried about their nation’s chances. Argentina is paired in quite a tricky group along with Poland and Mexico whom they face next.

Mexico is highly known to be one of the giant killers in the World Cup and they will put up a tough test for Argentina who will have to win the match no matter what. Lionel Messi who has already confirmed this to be his last World Cup will give it his all to take his team to the later stage of the tournament and will hope for a better performance in his second match.
