The Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud officially announced a one-day nationwide holiday, as a mark of celebration and respect for the players. The celebration was important and the confidence boost was necessary for the team as the 50th-ranked nation defeated a full-fledged 2nd-ranked team in the biggest competition at the international level.
