With the 2022 season nearing, fans are hoping to watch a fair match with the new and reversed set of regulations pertaining to safety cars and the new set of technical regulation for the 2022 cars. The new 2022 cars are the first set to be half a second per lap slower and a bit heavier than the 2021 packages. For the first time. the set of Pirelli tyres used this season will also be bigger in size compared to last year. With so many changes happening to the cars ahead of the 2022 season, Helmut Marko had few comments for the following.

Marko believes that the gap between competitors will be smaller as the new regulations are designed to encourage closer racing and tightening the grid. Helmut Marko puts his faith in Ferrari for the 2022 season, saying that they might bring back those days of glory with the iconic Maranello not having won an f1 race since 2019. In an interview, Marko said that hopefully it will be tighter because in principle Red bull and Mercedes are at full speed and the two of them will have lapped the filed with the balance of power remaining same.

After the torrid 2020 season, Ferrari bagged P3 in the Constructors’ Championship beating McLaren with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz as their drivers putting forward a strong competition, impressing fans all around the world and making tifosi’s proud. Ferrari has put forth one of the strongest driver lineups of all times on the grid.

The 2022 season will surely bring a lot of surprises, unexpected podiums, drama and a tough competition for the podium not just from Mercedes and Red bull but also from Ferrari and hopefully the other teams on the grid as well.
