In a new video released by the Austrian team, driver of both Red Bull and AlphaTauri can be seen competing in eight challenges off road race ahead of the Styrian Grand Prix. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are competing against AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly new off-road challenge in a race across Austria to the Red Bull Ring, armed with huge Pinzgauer’s they race through the mountains.
But it is not just about being the fastest, we set them several tests along the way so they can learn more about Austria. With all drivers bounding, this shows the momentum and jubilation spreading inside the Austrian camp.

Now let’s witness what the drivers had to say about Red Bull vs AlphaTauri off-road race. “Honestly I’d never seen anything like the Pinzgauer before – a six-wheel car. It was used in the army I think. I don’t know when but it pretty was cool to drive. It’s always nice to race in Austria and now we get the opportunity to do it twice. It’s our home Grand Prix and we’ve won it before, so hopefully we can have two good weekends here,” Max Verstappen said in Red Bull’s press release.
Sergio Perez added, ”It was very competitive, very serious (laughs) and the best type of Red Bull preparation you can have for the race weekend. ” Yuki Tsunoda had a bit more fear in his eyes. ”It was a really interesting and exciting event and there was plenty of teamwork. It was fun. The driving in the off-road with the Pinzgauer, we got stuck a lot on the hills and we had a tough time to get out from there, but it was fun.”
”We went around the Austrian countryside and discovered a lot of different parts of the country before we ended up at The Red Bull Ring. It was also good to be with all four drivers together”, concludes Pierre Gasly.
