“Wait until you see this year,” Lewis Hamilton sends warning to Max Verstappen and Red Bull ahead of 2022 F1 season

F1 fans across the world were on their toes when 8-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton announced he is back and will be on the grid. The Briton unveiled the Mercedes W13 after making his social media return. Hamilton himself clarified that it was a difficult time for him.
Lewis lost the season finale to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen after racing Wheel-to-Wheel in a nail-biting season. The controversial ruling by the then Race Director Micheal Masi allowed the cars between Hamilton and Verstappen to unlap themselves giving Max a chance to make his overtake on the Briton with his fresher soft tyres.
Since losing the title, Hamilton went off the radar making many question his future in the sport. Hamilton himself clarified that it was a difficult time for him. Hamilton answered back saying he is not done yet and will be back to fight for the title for the 2022 season.

Hamilton sends a strong warning for Verstappen
Hamilton was present in the Mercedes 2022 contender, the W13’s launch on 18th February. This was his first public appearance since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He shared his opinion regarding the controversial ending of the 2021 season for the first time.
The 8 time World Champion said confidently, “If you think what you saw at the end of the last year was my best, wait till you see this year” during the launch of the car. “I’m putting that into my training. I’m putting that into the work I have with the men and women in this team.”
Hamilton will be partnering with George Russell for the 2022 season. While Red Bull have retained their 2021 pair of Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen. So fans can begin counting days as season officially goes lights out on 18th March in Bahrain and the epic duel between the two.
