Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters FC have roped in Indian winger Vincy Barretto on a three-year deal, which will keep him at the club until the 2023/24 edition of the ISL.
The 21-year-old winger started his senior career with the FC Goa Reserve team in 2017, where he played 17 matches before leaving the club in 2020. He joined I-League club Gokulam Kerala FC ahead of the 2020/21 edition of the I-League and played 13 matches for the side last season. He played a key role in guiding the team to lift the trophy.
Vincy Barretto assisted once last season for the Malabarians. His only assist came against TRAU FC when he passed the ball to Emil Benny at the 16th minute, who found the net and gave Gokulam Kerala a 1-0 lead in the game. Finally, Gokulam Kerala FC won the game 3-1.
“I am glad to represent Kerala once again. I have always heard about the fan base that Kerala Blasters FC has, and I am really excited to be part of the team and experience that. I look forward to growing personally and showing my best performance on the field for KBFC”, says Vincy Barretto.
