“Give me a f-kin break, dude”: Charles Barkley claims Tiger Woods is no fun to be around in a ‘tense, conscious’ environment

NBA legend Charles Barkley recently took a subtle dig at his long time friend and pro golfer Tiger Woods. The golfer had quite a tight friend circle with Michael Jordan and Barkley before his scandals. Jordan and Barkley took Woods under their wing, and helped the celebrity superstar while spending a lot of time together.

However, when Woods cut off contact with his friends, it was quite disappointing for them- and Barkley did not hold back in speaking about it. Eventually the entire friend group fell apart, and now none of the celebrities talk to each other. However, Barkley recently spoke out about their relationship, saying that Woods was ‘no fun to be around’.

“Tiger is, without a doubt, a better golfer. You’re simply awestruck by his talent. But being around him is not enjoyable. Everyone in his world is tense and self-conscious, afraid to say of do the wrong thing,” said Barkley according to the Sports Rush. Barkley was of a clear opinion that Woods lacked communication skills, which was also a reason for his mess.

Barkley blamed Woods for alienating himself after his scandals as well. Charles said that if Woods had communicated better, taken proper time away they would have still been friends. He is still quite resentful that Woods did not even call him and wished that, “Tiger was man enough to call me.”

“Tiger himself has always acted as if he’s under siege. Give me a f-kin break, dude; you’re just a golfer. When you’re with Phil [Mickelson], you’re bound to have a good time. He makes people happy. Everyone around him is always cheerful. That’s a significant difference, man. I have no idea what happened to this day,” said Barkley.
