LIV Golf will be hosting its 2023 season from February 24 this year and has announced 14 events in seven countries. The official website of the golf league calls it the ‘first season’ of the circuit, with the 2022 season being a ‘beta-testing’ one. LIV includes some of the biggest stars in golf, such as Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, and Dustin Johnson.
Greg Norman, the CEO of LIV Golf, is extremely excited to begin this season on a fresh note. Speaking about the circuit’s success last year, he says, ‘‘Last year helped lay the foundation for the future of golf at extraordinary courses that have hosted some of the world’s top competitions. LIV Golf’s schedule features fantastic venues and championship sites for our official league launch that will carry the sport into a new era.’”
The courses chosen for this year, such as the Real Club Valderrama, Sentosa Golf Club, Royal Greens Golf, and Country Club, all rank at the top in their respective countries. LIV offers a unique way to present its tournaments- in a three-day festival-style event with shotgun starts, team golf competitions, and live music.
