The Presidents Cup 2022 was a grand event where Americans made their mark. Max Homa delivered a final shot and the Americans reclaimed victory on home soil for the eighth time and a ninth one straight in the competition. This is the 14th Presidents Cup. Being a prestigious event, the US Team fought tooth and nail against the International Team captained by Immelman.

For those unaware, the Presidents Cup is an international golfing competition created by the PGA Tour, between the US and rest of the world. It does not include European countries. It gives an opportunity to those not playing in the Ryder Cup (that takes place every odd year) to fight a golfing battle of their own.

Kevin Kisner with half a point secure, made it to the headlines with his humorous presence by calling Lee the sexiest golfer in America and Si Woo Kim, the ugliest f****r during the post-contest embrace between the team members.

The final was thrilling where the US Team delivered till the very end shot to quash the Internationals’ comeback bid. This year’s contest was hosted by NC Quail Hollow golf course on September 25 and 26. The US team ultimately secured a 17.5-12.5 win after a close battle towards the end. “It feels really good to win. It got close there for a little bit,” Schaufelle said.

Max Homa delivered the final shot that sealed the US team’s victory and celebrated in Woods’ style, throwing fist pumps at the momentous shot. It wasn’t long ago Homa made it to the league and the headlines for chasing to be a part of the proficient team for the US and finally delivering.

In a press conference, Trevor Immelman, heading the International team, said they were going through hell and less under control in comparison to Melbourne. Kisner tweeted with a clip pouring the celebratory drink into the cup and cheering for an after-party. He (Immelman) praised his boys for playing till the end, even though they were losing he battle. The whole event was unique with loads of highlights. Davis Love III lifting the cup was obviously the most mentioned.
