Kyrie Irving talks about his changing vaccine stance to the media
Though Kyrie outshined everyone in the game following his comeback and his stellar performance, the media was focused more on his COVID-19 vaccination stance. In the post-game interview, Irving was asked if his position has changed for the vaccine stance that led him to all of the previous games.
Explaining on the same Kyrie said, “I’m just taking it one day at a time… It’s not an ideal situation and I’m always praying that things get figured out and we are able to come to some collective agreement whether it be with the league, or just things that’s going on, that can help ease what we are all dealing with – with COVID or the vaccine. Everybody’s feeling it.”
Talking on how he doesn’t want this just for himself and being aware of the consequences Irving added “I don’t want to make it simply about me and simply about someone lessening the rules for me. I know what the consequences were, I still know what they are. But right now I’m just going to take it one day at a time and enjoy this time that I get to play with my guys. However it looks later in the season, we’ll address it then.”
Though his return does not stand for a long way ahead, he definitely has made his fans proud once again. The Brooklyn Nets are much more stronger than before with the addition of kyrie himself following the other stars James Harden and Kevin Durant. It would be interesting to see what lie further for the Brooklyn Nets.
