Klay Thompson, a four-time champion and former Golden State Warriors legend, has joined the Dallas Mavericks. This also saw him join the superb backcourt tandem of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic in one of the league’s most significant off-season moves.
Thompson recently shared his views on Doncic and Irving. The newest Mavs player spoke highly about his new teammates, claiming he is eager to share the court with them. Doncic and Irving were one of the best offensive duos this past 2023-24 NBA season. They lit the stage in the Western Conference, clinching the WCF title and reaching the 2024 NBA Finals.

The Dallas Mavericks began their training camp for the 2024-25 season in Las Vegas on Tuesday (October 1). Klay Thompson was the main topic of the opening day of training camp, as he practiced with the team for the first time. Notably, the Mavs’ head coach Jason Kidd was all praise for Thompson, stating that the four-time NBA champion knows ‘what it takes’ to win.

In addition, the Mavs seem to be a strong contender for the 2024-25 NBA title. However, it won’t be an easy task as competition is fiercer than ever.
